Another Season Bites the Dust

And just like that the season is all done again! Congratulations to our medal winners and hats off to the many athletes that worked hard this season. It is so awesome to know there were only a few points difference in the award for Athlete of the Year. It takes a lot of commitment and consistency to achieve this, and we are very proud of you all.
State PB Days 2022 / 2023

Congratulations to our many athletes who rose to the challenge and attended the PB Days this year. We are so pleased to report that we had a number of athletes go over these two days this year, and all of them came home with some great new PB's.

Coles Community Round 2022

We had so much fun this week as we wore as much red as we could to honour one of our key sponsors - Coles.
Thankyou to our wonderful volunteers who carried out this eveing while a number of our committee members were away, you are legends, and we can tell the kids really enjoyed the spirit of the night!
Toyota PB Night, Oh What a Feeling!

Congratulations to all our athletes that came out tonight and achieved some excellent PB’s, and to those that made some awesome Toyota themed cars for our race, it was a fun night by all. A special thankyou to Vicki Couch who organised many elements for the night and helped keep us on track with events!
Crystal Brook Classic

Over the weekend some of our athletes were invited to participate in a 100m showcase race against other regional Little Athletics Clubs in Crystal Brook. It was the first running of this event, and the kids had a great time! The athletes ran in heats, with the fastest of the runners progressing to a final 100m race. Excitingly all our eligible athletes who ran made it into the finals for their respective age group! A big congratulations to Hunter Earle & Ruby Maloney who both ran really well in their finals, and Congratulations to Stella Scheepers, who ran an exceptional race and placed 1st! A special thankyou to the organisers of the event, and to the families who took time out from their weekend to represent our wonderful little club. You have each made us very proud!
State PB Classic II

Congratulations to Harrison Young who over the weekend represented MNLAC and attended the State PB Classic II at the Mile End Athletics Stadium. In the spirit of the day Harrison achieved PB’s in almost every event and had a very enjoyable day. Congratulations!

High Jump a Hit!

We have been so lucky as to receive the wonderful gift of new high jump scissor kick mats. We are so thankful to our friends at the Clare Rotary Club for making this happen. Having these mats mean whole new age groups can have a go at this new event, with children from the U8 age group and up becoming eligible!
Coles Little Athletics Community Fund

This season we have been lucky enough to secure a grant from the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund.
You may have noticed our new equipment already in use, we received a high jump pole & uprights, a long jump mat, javelin equipment, discus netting equipment & a rollout hurdles marking tape.
